Summer Is Nearly Over

#1 Post by pykedgew » 22 Aug 2008 12:48

We are already working on it; new developers are taking care of it. This summer is planned for the update.

AVR compilers are Software Departments top priority
The people in the PIC area manage to get theirs at the beginning of summer.
Still, nothing has happen with the AVR.

So, what is going on ?
Any answer we receive will be the same as any others we heard before & that would not surprise us.

My wish is to make this compiler materialise for all users & hope that the team has taken all the previous requests to fix all the bugs in the compiler.

My other wish maybe the Company could throw in an "EasyAVR5 development system" & "AVRprog2 programmer" or just an "AVRprog2 programmer" to all those who waited or been inconvenient & are fully registered due to the delay.

Surely it cannot be that far of as the summer is nearly is over.

Regards
Ken

Hi,

I believe that you understand that compiler development is pretty complicated and time consuming task.

We are working very hard to meet your needs as soon as possible, so please
be patient. I am sure that your patience will pay off when you get the new
version, with the whole new IDE, command line, rewritten libraries and examples.

We are confident that this time around we will release a compiler that you will be satisfied with.

Hi,

posts have been deleted because they were out of content,
and three of them in a row.
If you go anywhere else, any other forum, this is standard code of behavior that needs to be respected.
Here are some pictures to give you an update of our work.

and
http://www.mikroe.com/upld/picture02.jpg

The first one is new IDE with example compiled successfully, and the second one is the process of running through software debugger.

Hi Marko

Not quite out of content.
Purely a little bet on the countdown of how may days to be the release.

Which is very soon according to my calculation.
Pictures very similar to early TP4 days.
