Program a Mikromedia plus with Necto

#1 Post by Lshoena » 23 Aug 2021 16:03

Dear all,

I'm trying to learn how to program a screen driven by a microprocessor and I cannot find the Mikromedia Plus for PIC32MX7 in the Setup configuration in NectoStudio. How can I program it with Necto ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Lucas

Hi,
I'm currently in the same situation. I have a licence for necto but i cannot use it with my new board mikromedia + for pic32mx7.
Have you any idea when there will be a release for it?
Can you transmit our request to the person in charge of the release?
Best regards,
Richard

Hi,

A new version of Necto has been released on 30/09 and still no support for my MicroMedia Plus. My project is running late because of this.
Do you have a solution for me ?

Regards,

Lucas

Hi,
You can add this board to Necto manually if it has SSD1963 graphic processor (as I see other display drivers are not supported yet in Necto), it is a little bit triky.I made some tests with a custom SSD1963 7" display, VTFT AI is still in betta ,it is possible to encounter some bugs (viewtopic.php?f=246&t=78602)
But for learning purposes is excellent ,not recommended yet for production.

Best Regards,
Levi

Hi philip,
Do you know if the mikromedia plus for Pic32MX board will be added to the next release of necto?

Best regards,

Richard
