MicroC-PRO for PIC

#1 Post by HowardJ » 05 May 2020 05:48

When the Editor is opened, it defaults to various views being active and some are not.
Personally, whenever I open the editor, I close Code Explorer, Project Explorer, LibStock Manager, and the Start Page.
Then, I click the Auto Hide icon on each of the three that are left.
It's fine that others may use these views, but to me they just clutter up the screen. Some do not even have Auto Hide icons, but remain in your face.
OK, the color setup is retained, and the last used scheme is always the default.
Could we have a an opening configuration that is saved, and used whenever the editor is opened?
It would be nice, I think.
Regards
Howard

Hello,

Yes, you can save your custom layout. At the top toolbar you will see a combo box that should say "Default" assuming you haven't changed from the default layout, with three buttons next to it.
After you've set your layout to how you wished, you can simply give the new name to the layout and click Save Layout.
Pressing on the Set Layout button while having your layout selected in the combo box will make it active and rearrange your screen.

Regards,
