Necto and older Hardware ???

#1 Post by gg-rpg » 18 Jul 2022 13:47

Good afternoon,
I'm thinking of switching to Necto because the old IDE (micoC Pro for PIC32) has a serious bug that I can't find an answer for so far.
Working is almost not possible anymore. I wrote to the support today and sent a code-example for testing.

But now to the question concerning Necto ...

I have an EasyPIC fusion v7 with easyTFT. I use micoC Pro for PIC32 with VisualTFT.
After installing Necto I tried to create a setup for my hardware, unfortunately I fail because no display (need easyTFT) can be specified for my development board.
Why is this?

Second question ... Can I import my old Vtft & MicroC32 files into Necto?

Regards, Gunther

Hi,

Unfortunately, the CODEGRIP programmer is not supported in the mikroC PRO for PIC32 compiler, so there is no possibility to program/debug the code directly from IDE.

As for the importing project, in general this can be done, but you will have to manually add the object events, as the Visual TFT in NECTO Studio has different event mechanism.

Regards,
Filip.
