Mikromedia 7 Capacitive STMSTM32F767BI and Necto Design

#1 Post by PaulA » 22 Jun 2020 17:26

Hi, i am trying to set up a new project for my newly purchased Mikromedia 7 Display.
I followed the path described in the manual how i understood it:
1. Set project name and location (for test purposes i left them default, just changed the name)
2. Project Type: Designer, Language Type: Mikro C, Template: Mikromedia 7 Capacitive Application
3. Profiles:
Manage profile Templates->Create->mikroC for ARM->Mikromedia 7 Capacitive->STM32F767BI->2xCodegrip->mSDK is only 'none' available-> Profilename Mikromedia7 STM32F767BI
Selected new created Profile

Next the Generel output shows following messages:
'Runing meMake...'
'Library 'MikroSDK.VisualTft' not found. Be sure that 'MEMAKE_PREFIX_PATH' configuration entry contains path where library is installed.'

What is causing the problem? I am new to this and want to test the capabilitys of the display & board considering future projects...

Hi,

Since the project you opened was made using NECTO Designer, it utilizes mikroSDK v2, meaning you have to use mikroSDK v2, without it, it won't work.
Attached you can find a zip file containing a folder, please extract it and copy the entire folder to:
C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Local\Mikroe\NectoStudio\mikrosdk\2.0.0

After this, you will have to create a new profile in NECTO and at the "Select mikroSDK step" you will be able to select mikroSDK v2 instead of *none*.
If you do not know how to create a new profile, please refer to the tutorial in the Help file in NECTO.

Make sure the profile you created is active and you should be able to compile the project.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Please let me know if you will have problems with detecting touch on the display.
