CODEGRIP debugging with MikroC PRO for PIC32

Is it possible to use the CODEGRIP debugging probe with MikroC PRO for PIC32?

mikroC PRO for PIC32 v.4.0.0 (trial version)
CODEGRIP Hardware Version 1.02
CODEGRIP Firmware Version 1.3.0 (Downgraded from v 1.5.0)

The error is simply a dialog that says:
"Development tool not detected."
"Make sure that you connected your development tool."

When using the mikroPro Suite (which popus up when I try to download the code), I can select the menu USB->Show Devices.
Nothing shows in the list of the popup window.

Unfortunately, CODEGRIP is not supported in the mikroC PRO for PIC32 compiler.
