CodeGrip PIC32 fails in verify

#1 Post by Dominic75 » 16 Apr 2021 18:11

Hi,
I am trying to program a PIC32 device using CodeGrip and it always fail at the verify step after the write. I am using CodeGrip suite directly (not through Necto Studio).

CodeGrip:
Version: 1.4.1

PIC:
PIC32MX120F064H
Custom Board.

The exact same .hex programs without issue using MikroProg.

Please see attached video --> CodeGripPic32.zip

If I put the program speed slower, it still fails. --> CodeGripPIC32Slower.zip

Any way to fix this?

Thanks
Dominic

Hello,

There are probably some config bits that cause CRC to fail. Your hex will still work however. I will notify our developers of this though, so they can take a look at it.

Kind regards,

Hello,

Try updating your CODEGRIP Suite to the newest version now (1.4.2) and see if the issue persists.
If it does, please zip and attach the hex file that is causing verify failures.
