Allowed parent of a process?

Allowed parent of a process?

I'm resuming work on a ME project for the first time in a while.

Now I get a pop-up every 10-seconds from my internet security software warning that:

The application mikroBasicDsPIC.exe is the parent of a process that is communicating. Do you want this process to be an "allowed parent"?

I've been responding in the negative, and it keeps nagging me every 10-seconds.

I'm the registered owner of my compiler, and I've never seenn this message before.

Anybody on the forum know what it is about?
