UART repeats the first two characters when receiving

Sometimes the UART repeats the first two characters when receiving.
Instead of receiving CTRL10... it receives CTCTRL10...
What can cause this?

Hello,

We need some more info on this: can you please provide a minimal code that shows this behavior?
Please create a simple project and attach it as a zip file so that I can also see the MCU type, configuration settings, and everything else related to your issue.
