16F876 and 18D20 experiment

Hi , I'm trying experimenting with 16F876 and 18D20 ( with resolution=12 ) device , using the library example: I noticed that the reading is 4 digts fractional and increment is 0.625 which is not needed in my case .
I only need two digits fractional ....it is fairly simple just 'truncate' digits number , but I'm not sure the accuracy would be fine .
Is there any suggestion or changes to make things better?
