MikroMedia for XMEGA

#1 Post by river25 » 08 Sep 2016 13:07

Hi,

Great little board, and if i could ever figure out how to use it I think I've got a bunch of things I could use it for. I am using mikroBasic PRO for AVR and decided to give it a go.

I started the example you have below...
http://download.mikroe.com/documents/ad ... t-v350.pdf

I follow the example exactly as described, but the code screen shots in the example do not match what my screen displays, and compilation brings up a bunch of errors which I don't understand. I tried adding and changing things to get it to compile. Some changes reduced the errors, but they've never been eliminated.

So, I decided to download some examples and run them. However I can't get mikrobootloader to connect to the XMEGA. I am using Win10 and my device manager has 2 COM ports... COM1 and COM3. Neither connect. I don't know what to do now :(

Hi,

Have you installed FTDI Virtual COM port drivers first ?
The board should be detected as a new COM port in Device Manager.

Regards,
Filip.
