Doing multimeter tests of port voltage, I am getting the appropriate 3.1 volts on (on). However on off, I drop to 2.4 volts, not 0 volts. I get no drop to 0 volts when the port is voice switched to off. This occurs on two speakup boards so it's probably a programming error. What am I doing wrong?

Re: speakup port voltage
Hi,
Can you be more specific?
Where are you getting these voltages ?
Maybe this will help:

Re: speakup port voltage
Dear Nadir:
The voltages were tested between IO1 and ground. The speakup board was programmed for off and on by voice control. What I am referring to is that when the IO port turns off, the voltage is still 2.4V, not 0 volts. On on the correct 3.1 V is present. On low the voltage should be 0, but it is not. I have seen the Hazelden blog, but appreciate the reference. I would assume a hardware problem, but it is occurring on two boards.
Thanks
