Click MPKG sample wont compile

#1 Post by qwerty » 29 Jun 2020 03:57

Hi,
I feel like an absolute idiot, i know i am missing something simple.
i haven't installed a PIC or Click, I have easyPICv7 development board. I just want to make sure i can compile at this stage.

1) new install of 7.6.0 MicroBasic Pro (i was used to 7.1.0 so lots to learn)
2) opened 'weather click' mpkg in package installer.
3) went to default location and opened example (packages/weather click\example\I2C\click weather_PIC)
4) ensured library was showing in library manager and selected.
5) viewed 'edit search paths' (was already populated with "..\..\users\)

It wont compile, it gives warning that "file easypicpro_v7_P18F87K22.mbas" not found (this is default PIC for the sample), also underlines in red some code about 'microbus'!

i have tried setting a path to 'packages\weather click\users' and 'packages\microBUS BDF API/users' in case this was the issue

can someone help me please. it's just the Mikroe example and just don't know what compiler is looking for and why it cant find it.
hopefully attached image helps-

Hello,

Your search paths seem to be correct. Have you tried Rebuilding all sources (Alt + F9) instead of just building the project?

got it working myself.
not sure what happened but did entire uninstall and reinstall of mikrobasic.
loaded SDK and weather click from libstock.
loaded their paths again, rebuilt all sources- all same as before and now it compiles (bloody technology!)
