#1 Post by tacoroos » 26 Feb 2023 16:49

Programmer says it has a 12F508 in it
but I use A 16F628A

"
Device detected 12F508
Device Selected 16F28A
Continue Anyway
"
did firmware update V2.8
But that doesn't change anything
maybe a bug!!

now i have to take pic out and USE with TL866 II PLUS
That's not handy
can you solve this problem

Thanks
Taco

Hi,

Try applying a pull-down resistor to PGM pin RB4. That may resolve the problem if the LVP bit is set in configuration bits (such as on a brand new device).
Disable LVP in configuration so that pull-down is not necessary next time you program the PIC

Filip.
