EasyPic V7 Blink Does Not Work

#1 Post by DavidTheGeek » 25 Jun 2021 13:48

Hi

I've got an EasyPIV v7 board with 18F45K22 and fresh install of Micro C. I have not messed with it other than to try some the solutions to the ICD not working.

I can build and program the super simple blink example, but it will not run. At all.

I tried using the debugger, which appears to start but all the Step options are greyed out. If I select the 'release' optioon for the MCU, the ICD starts and steps through, but I gess that's just an emulator. Nothing happens on the board.

SW3 is set correctly. All the DIP switches are in the middle position. The only bits which illuminate are RA5, RC0 and RC1. These do not turn off.

I have updated the ICD mikroProg firmware.

I am baffled.

Hello,

Is your board set up correctly? (jumpers, oscillators, switches, etc...?)
Also, is your clock configured correctly in the Edit Project window?

Regards,
