The message after completion of WRITE: "Programming FAILED! -Configuration Word(s): 2 Error(s)"
Despite the message, the program works correctly.
Debugging is started, control points of a stop work correctly.
In the debugger it is possible to look at value of registers and memory, but it is impossible to change value.
PICKit3 and MPLAB work with the same device correctly.
In the previous version of the device PIC18F66K80 was applied. MikroC and MikroProg worked ideally.

PIC18F66K40 is supported incorrectly?

Hi Anton,

Could you please attach a minimal project which reproduces this issue related to configuration words?

Does it happen if you uncheck the "Verify Chip Writes" feature from mikroProg Suite -> Options?
Do you have any other MCU from K40 Family? If so, could you please test whether this issue related to PIC18F66K40 only or to whole K40 family?

Regarding the debugger: I've reproduced the same issue, I'll forward this to our developers, they will fix it as soon as possible.
