AVR Flash and AVR128DA28

#1 Post by donute » 20 Jan 2024 19:53

Hello,

I would like to know if in the future version of AVR FLash will be added support for the new MCU AVR128DA28? And if so, how soon will there be an update in this regard to AVR Flash?

Please.

Hi,

A lot more attention is going towards CODEGRIP programmers at the moment, and CODEGRIP does support AVR128DA28.

I do not have information on when AVR Flash will support AVR128DA28.

Regards,

Ivan.

Thank you.
I understood that CodeGrip supports AVR128DA28 and if I use Codegrip I no longer need AVRFlash?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

If you buy CODEGRIP there is no need to use AVRFlash.

You can find which MCUs CODEGRIP supports in the Supported MCUs section in the link below:

Ivan.

Thanks for the reply. I also saw your reply late!

I downloaded Codegrip for AVR and installed software from the URL you posted. Making a comparison with AVR Flash, at CodeGrip I did not see the fusebit setting mode on AVR microcontrollers as AVR Flash software has. So, from this point of view, Codegrip seems to me much weaker than AVR Flash!

P.S. By the way, could I change my username so that my e-mail address no longer appears in this forum???

Hi donute,

We have changed your user name so that your full email doesn't appear as your nickname.

Codegrip doesn't have the fuse bit settings.
You can set them in your compiler or directly in your code,
and with those values in the hex files, Codegrip will set the fuse bits as you wish.

Kind regards,
Tanja
