J-Link problem for STM32H743VIT6

#1 Post by OldSpring » 26 Oct 2019 01:54

Hi, MikroE Team:

I'm using a J-Link programmer for our STM32H743VIT6 project. There is an error message when we try to load the code to the chip.

OS win7
MikroBasic Ver 6.20
J-Frash V6.51e works fine. (load the code to STM32H743 no problem)

Could you please help us to solve this problem? Thank you!

Below is error message screen shot.

Hello,

When you run mikroProg Suite, go to the Options and check if you selected JLINK under Hardware.

Kind regards,
Jovana

Hi,

This setting is from the compiler.
Can you also run mikroProg Suite, go to the Options, choose JLINK under Hardware and try to detect MCU.

Kind regards,
Jovana

Hello,

The reason why you cannot use our mikroProg Suite is probably because we have the older version of JLink which does not support Cortex-M7. So, we have to update JLink and after that, you will be able to use our mikroProg Suite with JLink programmer.

I forwarded this to our developer team, so I hope it will be fixed in the near future.

Kind regards,
Jovana
