Atmega324 software recovery

#1 Post by public2010 » 25 Oct 2017 09:09

I built a tester transistor and by mistake I affected the MCU's ADC inputs. I don't have the source code, but only the .hex code in the affected MCU. I would like to move (copy) to another MCU this code but I don't know if this is still possible!!! In this regard, I read with AVR flash the old MCU (affected) and the settings are highlighted in the image below. Under these conditions is it possible to save the .hex code and move it to another MCU?

Hi,

When you open AVRFLASH application, in Options, please deselect all options
except CODE as it is shown in the image bellow. Then you can click on OK.

After that you can click on Read and then Save and .hex file should be saved
under the name which you give and in destination folder which you choose.

Kind regards,
Lana
