#1 Post by phil31 » 23 May 2018 07:17

Hi all ARM users

please anybody can confirm or give answer to the followings questions :

1/ does the USB Device library from libstock (https://libstock.mikroe.com/projects/vi ... ce-library) is fully working with the STM32F042F or STM32F042G?
2/ what is the FLASH size required for a basic VCP (CDC) device implementation ?

thanks, have a nice day !
regards

Hi,
1/ does the USB Device library from libstock (https://libstock.mikroe.com/projects/vi ... ce-library) is fully working with the STM32F042F or STM32F042G?
I can confirm that the library has not been tested on these MCUs, as they are not selected when you try to install it in the Package Manager.
2/ what is the FLASH size required for a basic VCP (CDC) device implementation ?
When I compile the default VCP example from the library, the compiler reports that the occupied FLASH size is 9649 bytes, so this basically should be the limit.

Regards,
Filip.
