Compressed fonts format explanation

Hello,

I am trying to understand how the compressed fonts format works, what is the meaning of each value that the software is generating and how it works the compressing algorithm. Is there any tutorial or place where to took at that?

Hi,

Welcome to the MikroE forum.

GLCD Font Creator works on that way so each letter is represented as white and black dots,
then one byte contains data for 8 pixels.
