Save char: "An error occurred in the application"

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. If selecting "Save char" when no (new) font has been loaded (empty workspace) an error screen appears: "GLCD FontCreator.exe An error occurred in the application". Buttons are for continue (which will continue OK), restart or close application as well as send, save or print bug report. This shouldn't happen, I guess some error handler is missing.

Does the compatibility mode solves your problem ?

I'm running it in compatibility mode as Windows XP SP3 and still the error appears.

This button shouldn't be active if new NEW FONT has NOT been created.

Please fill and send the bug report when this happens, it will be addressed to our developers, so they can see where the error lies.
