New Project Bug

#1 Post by peini » 08 Jul 2019 14:02

And another bug...

After creating a new project the user will be asked to save the main file.
For this a save-Dialog appears and if you simply press ok everything is fine.
But if you change the name to something different (eg. Main.c) the app crashes. WHY?

I really love your hardware and i have a lot of development boards which are so great.
But as often suggested you should use some existing IDE like Visual Studio and focus on the real things. Why are you insisting on developing you own IDE?

PS: This is the newest version.

yes visual studio ide is amazing, with embedded code i end up doing alot of stuff in notepad++ then copying it over. i've been using mikroc for years and it does have its own charm along with its quirks.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I have not managed to reproduce the same behavior.
Could you please "send bug report" when this error message pops up again?

Have you tried with reinstalling the compiler? Make sure to install it using administrator privileges (right click on the icon -> run as administrator).
Aslo, please try running the compiler using administrator privileges.

Kind regards,
Stefan Filipović
