Visual TFT dug, event -> action deletes the user choice

#1 Post by minas » 07 Jun 2015 13:23

On press event deletes user choice.
User has to choose the event function for second time to stabilize it.

Also I think that Action is useless in this list that, only one action, function, can be executed if event is fired into the code

How to reproduce
On click action write the name of the function, press enter. Write a line in user window.
Come back to event and click action and delete function name - empty text box.
Answerer No on the dialog --> to delete the function.
On press action chose from the list the function name and click above box.
The box “on press action” looses the function name. Chose it again and now it is study there

Hi,

Thank you for your observation.
I was able to reproduce the same problem.

I will certainly forward this problem to our Development Team, so they can solve it for next release.

Darko

An othe bug also noticed

Box control --> press color
you have to choose the color using the mouse, If you write the color e.g. clblue it leaves the default one.

Hi,

Which version of Visual TFT did you use?
This problem may occur in previous version of Visual TFT.
I tried the same on my Visual TFT 3.9.1. but unfortunately I was unable to reproduce the same problem.

Hi,

I tested this behavior in Visual TFT v3.9.1: Create Box component on the screen and try to change Press Color property into "clblue" by typing and by copying it. I was not able to reproduce the same behavior which you describe.

In any case, I pass this behavior to my colleagues from Software Department so they can take a look.

Best regards,
Marina

I install trial edition at office winxp I face the same functionality as in win7 x64 at home
Please do the following procedure to reproduce it
with calculator example, Pic33, place a round Button on the green box
Select the button with "3" and change Press color to clblue it works ok
Now select the round button on the green box
change, writing on keyboard, the press color to clblue, color to clwhite , uncheck gradient enable.
Select the button "3". changes are ok.
Select Round Box , press color is turn into default , color ->clWhite (ok) , enable is unchecked (ok)
It seems that the problem is with RoundButton

Hi,

I managed to reproduce this behavior but not every time and like you already mentioned, only with Rounded Button.
I'll pass this behavior to my colleagues from Software Department so they can take a look and try to find source of the problem.

Problem shouldn't exist if you choose the color from the drop-down menu.

Thank you for pointing on this behavior.

Best regards,
Marina
