Sub procedure anomaly

#1 Post by pakirk » 06 Jul 2011 00:14

Windows 7 64Bit
mikroBASIV PRO PIC 32 V1.80
VTFT V 1.30
For some reason when working on a project sometimes VTFT loses a button’s assigned sub procedure.
This is very annoying . The current project I am working on has over 100 buttons, and sometimes when I alter something in VTFT it drops the subs for a bunch of buttons. This can vary between one or two to ALL of them.
For example I have a button called Push8SetButton1 and it has OnClick Push8SetButton1Click. I could change something on a different screen and when I compile it Push8SetButton1 would simply stop functioning. When I go the Push8SetButton1 properties OnClick would be blank.
I am very careful making sure the project is up to date in each program all the time.
I have not been able to isolate a specific action I do that causes this issue, but will try to. Having said that it does appear random.
Regards

Ah found one UNDO
If you use UNDO causes this problem.
this is not unique to my project
Test
open simpleWindows demo
move an object
press undo and ALL the buttons luses its asigned subs.

I have tested this on another computer and got the same isue.

Hello pakirk,

Sorry for the inconvenience.
We have reported this UNDO issue to mikroE software department and they fixed it. This fix will be implemented in new version of VisualTFT Tool which is expected to be released during next week.

Thanks for Your effort and understanding.
Best Regards.
