I know that others have brought this up WRT PIC compilers, and you don't like the idea, but having the IDE provide macro substitution (not the compiler), of symbols would really, really, really, really, really, really make life a lot easier. PPLLEEAASSEE!!! :D :D :D

The PIC languages could use this too. :)
