Small remark: odd user package names in the library manager

#1 Post by Dany » 12 Jan 2012 19:52

Hi, one small remark regarding the combination LibStock/Package Manager:

When an .mpkg file is downloaded from Libstock its name looks e.g. like "1320141369_network_ethernet_mikropascal_pic.mpkg".
After the .mpkg file is opened with the package manager and installed, the installed package appears in the compiler's library manager as "1320141369_network_ethernet_mikropascal_pic", so the filename of the package without the extension.

But: the actual package name (as the developer intended) is "network_ethernet_mikropascal_pic".

It would be better if the "1320141369_" (the number added by LibStock) would be left out when the package is installed.

Thanks in advance! :D :D
Kind regards, Dany.

Hi,

Indeed, this name doesn't look very nice and it can be confusing.
I will speak to my developers regarding and I'm sure we will find a solution for this.

Thank you for reporting this.

Regards,
Filip.
