Is there a "How to use Package Manager"?

#1 Post by ahutton02 » 08 Feb 2021 01:35

Ok, sorry to ask such a basic question but I've spent a couple of weeks searching the Mikro forums without success now.
Is there a How to use the package manager ?
I mean a basic users guide.

I have tried and downloaded several files, they appear in the Download Folder but I don't know how to get them into the
package manager.
I have also tried to get a downloaded file into the compiler (I use MikroPascal) but I have been unable to find any "this is
how to do it " guides.

Sorry to ask what must be a very obvious question to seasoned users but I am getting frustrated unable to find instructions.
Please help!

Hello,

You can associate the .mpkg format with the Package Manager and simply double click it to open it.
Otherwise, open Package Manager and then click on File > Open Package, navigate to the .mpkg file you download and double click it or click Open.

If you wish to install the package click on the green arrow.
