Visual GLCD for pic16f887

Hello Everyone

I have downloaded the quick start guide that showing that I can choose pic16f887 to work with in visual glcd software. But when I downloaded the software I did not find any pic16 family .

Is that was an older version ? if so, where can I find it ?

Hello,

due to the code requirements Visual GLCD supports MCUs from PIC18 and up.
P16 family has 8-Level Deep Hardware Stack which is not enough for the code generated with VisualGLCD software.
Thank you for pointing this in our manual, it will be fixed. There are examples created for EasyPIC6 with P18F4520,
you can find them in Project folder of your Visual GLCD installation folder.
