We are pleased to announce that we have redesigned and improved SmartMP3 Board.
This board now contains VS1053 - Ogg Vorbis/MP3/AAC/WMA/FLAC/WAV/MIDI stereo audio codec.
When this product was released for the first time, we have received lots of suggestions from our users
and as we are good listeners we have decided to improve it. We gathered all your suggestions and made
this board so now it contains modern and more powerfull VS1053 - Ogg Vorbis/MP3/AAC/WMA/FLAC/WAV/MIDI
stereo audio codec instead of previous VS1011E audio codec.
Beside this feature, we have replaced MMC/SD card slot with more popular microSD card slot which can be found
in almost every mobile phone. The screw terminals were replaced with more convenient audio connectors so now
you can connect your speakers or headphones directly to SmartMP3 board. Previous version of the board could
reproduce sound only, but the new board has MIC input, which allows you to record sound from microphone.
The microphone can be connected via audio connector on-board.
We have made this board more compact, so it can easily fit into smaller spaces. A set of examples is available on
