Current click released!
Measure current with ease using the new Current click board.
Current Click™ is an add-on board used for measurement of electric current.
It features INA196 current shunt monitor, MCP3201 12-bit ADC, MAX6106
voltage reference as well as two screw terminals. Board receives current from
the output circuit connected to IN(+) and OUT(-) pins of the first screw
terminal. INA196 IC converts this current into a voltage. Second screw
terminal is used for external shunt. In order to measure current values in
various bands, you need to provide the shunt of the appropriate value.
Four shunts with different values are provided in the package. Current Click™
communicates with target microcontroller via mikroBUS™ SPI or AN lines.
It’s designed to use either 3.3V or 5V power supply.
We invite you to visit the board webpage for more information.
Yours sincerely,
mikroElektronika

Re: Current click released!
Hello!
Is it possible to measure current between the range of 10uA to 100uA (microAmperes) using a proper shunt?
Thanks.

Re: Current click released!
Hi,
I'm afraid it is not possible to measure so low currents.
Regards,
Filip.

Re: Current click released!
Can we use it to measure current using 75mV 50A shunt ?

For higher currents use Hall sensor such as A1302 (it is replacement for old UGN3503). See photo in attachment.
75mV voltage drop is not problem, problem is 50A transient current.
