Aleksandar Krstic, one of our users from Belgrade, came to us with an idea of creating
an interesting device using ATXMega microcontroller. A few months after his visit,
we are presenting you with a device of his design - the BassBoy Board -
a monophonic digital MIDI controlled bass synthesizer.
Chasing his childhood dream, Aleksandar learned electronics and programming and designed
the entire board himself, and wrote the firmware entirely in assembly, pushing the 8-bit microcontroller to it's limits.
But what he managed to get is really impressive. Deep, rich sound, from warm and smooth, to sharp harmonics,
give your MIDI music an incredible perspective.
