"When I look back it’s very nice to see all we done and learned during this time.
I would like to thank Mikroelektronika for this opportunity and say
that this could not be possible in the tight schedule without MikroC for PIC and dsPIC."

These are sentences form article on Student Formula Project competition, held in Brasil from 19th to 21st of November 2010.
Goal of the project was to create formula race car from scratch. Electrical Engineering students at the CEFET-MG University,
in Belo Horizonte city formed CEFAST Team, and they came with an idea or realization.
If you think building the Formula is an easy task, just look at the list of 27 sensors that had to be included in the car:

- Engine RPM
- Transmission RPM
- Wheel Speed
- Actual Gear Measurement
- Oil Pressure Sensor
- Tires Pressure and Temperature
- Suspension Traveling Potentiometer
- Brake discs temperatures
- Engine Water Temperature
- Battery Temperature
- Radiator Temperature
- Total Electric Current and Voltage
- Alternator Supply Current and Voltage
- CAN Network Current and Voltage
- Accelerator and Brake Pedals Travel
- Fuel Level
- Fuel Injectors Actuation
- Three axis accelerometer
- Lambda Sensor

Team decided to use dsPIC33FJ64GP804 and mikroC PRO for dsPIC compiler for project development.
They contacted mikroElektronika, and we were more than happy to support the project with a donation.
Competition was rough, and Team ended up 5th, which is three places closer to the top than last year.
We congratulate them on their achievements, and we can't wait to be a part of their team next year!

Yours sincerely,
