LMP91000 settings for SPEC Sensors Clicks (CO 2, OZONE 3, NO2)

#1 Post by lucian.lepadatu » 05 Mar 2023 16:11

Hello,

I am looking to understand the LMP91000 settings that are needed for the Click boards using SPEC Sensors: CO 2, OZONE 3, NO2.

Comparing the values from git (and also looking at the schematics for each board):
https://github.com/MikroElektronika/mik ... licks/co_2
https://github.com/MikroElektronika/mik ... cks/ozone3
https://github.com/MikroElektronika/mik ... clicks/no2
with the values (and schematic) from the SPEC Sensor's Sensor Developer Kit open source files I see they are completely different.

For example, for the carbon monoxide sensor I see that the click board uses RLOAD=100 Ohm and TIA_GAIN=3.5k while the manufaturer's design is using an external resistance TIA_GAIN=499k and RLOAD=10 Ohm.

I would appreciate a clarification on this.
