How does this device protect your data?

Does it simply disable USB data pins - in which case bypassing your device will defeat the protection, or is something more clever going on?

Your website leaves many potential questions unanswered.
Start every day with a smile...... (get it over with) :)

Yes it disables the data pins, so no magic in that sence.

Bypassing my device is not really a usercase i think. Your are close to the phone when charging in a public place.

I got feedback during another camaping that i had to much info and that people were to lazy to read it. Therefore i choose to have less this time. It's really hard to know where to find the sweet spot.

/K

Very impressive, I really like how this project has progressed.

Just for the data block alone I would like this but also keeping the original overcurrent protection makes this over the top and think you have a very good chance of making it happen. I will do whatever I can to help support this.
