Can i make a Grain Moisture Sensor with PIC16f877a?

I didn't see any tutorial of making grain moisture sensors but there's a lot of tutorials about soil moisture sensors. I don't think I can use soil moisture sensors for grains so I hope you can help me to make my own grain moisture sensor.

PS
As of now, I made a temperature sensor using PIC16f877a with LM35 and I'm trying to switch my LM35 to 18b20.
