4G LTE Click + Pi3 Click Shield on Raspberry Pi 3B+

#1 Post by jackchiang » 01 Jul 2019 00:40

Hello, I am trying to use the 4G LTE Click module with the Pi3 Click Shield on the Raspberry Pi 3B+ to have cellular connection to access the internet. I have not found any projects/code that run this specific configuration, and I am unsure where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

On our GitHub, you can find the source code of 4G LTE click board:
https://github.com/MikroElektronika/4G_LTE_click

Also, on the following link, you can find the datasheet of this module:
https://download.mikroe.com/documents/d ... 783%29.pdf
and on this link, you can find U-blox - AT Commands Manual:

Kind regards,

Hi Joanna,

Thank you for your response, I've already had a look at these documents and files, but it still does not provide me any insight on how to connect the 4g LTE click module to the raspberry pi after plugging it into the click shield.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we don't provide software support for the Raspberry Pi, so we don't have the examples for it.
We have the library for our compilers only.
However, I sent you our example and datasheet, so you can use it as a reference in order to write your project or maybe some of our users can share their experience.

Kind regards,
Jovana
