Hi,
You cannot program it using the USB cable, but you can upload the generated HEX files using the integrated bootloader.

There is a bootloader software for mikromedia for PIC18FJ, which can be downloaded from the following address :
http://www.mikroe.com/eng/products/view ... r-pic18fj/
You can also buy a programmer if you feel more comfortable working with it.
The programming of the board is fairly simple, just attach the mikroProg to it and you are ready to work.

So If I wanna buy the mikromedia 18FJ, I need the mikromedia board( http://www.mikroe.com/eng/products/view ... r-pic18fj/ ), the programmer ( http://www.mikroe.com/eng/products/view ... and-pic32/ ), a battery if I wanna use the board without PC ( http://www.mikroe.com/eng/products/view ... st-shield/ ) and for games this one ( http://www.mikroe.com/eng/products/view ... ng-shield/ ) . And I see I need connector to connect the battery and the mikromedia GAMING Shield but i don't know what I must buy to connect them . Can you help me and sorry for all these questions !

As for the mikromedia GAMING Shield, you will need two Female Sockets 1x26pin (as stated here : http://www.mikroe.com/eng/products/view ... ng-shield/),
to connect it to the mikromedia for PIC18FJ, taking in concern that Male Pin Headers 1x26pin (distributed with the board) are soldered on the mikromedia for PIC18FJ (described here: http://www.mikroe.com/eng/downloads/get ... shield.pdf).

With the mikromedia for PIC18FJ you will get a soldered female connector on which you will connect the battery, there is no need for purchasing another battery connector.And I see I need connector to connect the battery and the mikromedia GAMING Shield but i don't know what I must buy to connect them .
