mikroProg Suite 2.20 will be officially released very soon with all necessary details and explanations provided.
At the moment we have released new dsPIC compiler versions with mikroProg Suite v2.20 included, you may download them from the following location :
http://www.mikroe.com/eng/categories/vi ... compilers/

Also, mikroProg Suite 2.20 will be included in the following release of the PIC compilers.

As soon as we release the mikroProg Suite 2.20 officially, we will make public announcement and all user will be able to download it from our website.

Regards,
Filip.
I just downloaded v2.2 from the MikroProg programmer+debugger page and under 16F listing, I can't even see 16F19xx or 16F182x series listed. PIC16F19xx was there in v2.15. Any comments on that?

Code: Select all

v2.20
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Added firmware update for mikroProg and LV32MX v6
- New dsPIC33E and PIC24E family added
- Added support for new chips from 24FKA family

v2.15
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
- PIC16F72x config word bug corrected
- PIC18FxxJ50 config words updated
- Added support for EasyPIC7
- Added support for :
   PIC16F182x family
   PIC16F151X family
   PIC18F4xK80 family
   PIC18F2xK80 family
PIC16F182x support was never added to v2.15 despite listing it in the changelog. It doesn't *seem* to be there in v2.20 either. The numerous PICFlash2 programmer+debugger units I purchased from MikroElektronika are mere dead weight since they can't program/debug the controller lineup available from Microchip for over an year now.

Hello,

Please notice that when you connect mikroProg or EasyPIC7 to your computer and open mikroProg Suite v2.20, you will be able to select those controllers in drop down list.
Please try to do this with your programmer.

Also notice print screen from my system in attachment.

Best regards.

Hi,

The reality is that the PIC16F1827 is supported by the mikroProg Suite for PIC and can be programmed using mikroProg external programmer or EasyPIC7,
please see the screenshot at the end of this post.

Regards,
Filip.
