PIC_EEPROM Interface

#1 Post by kpskp » 01 Feb 2011 16:54

Hi,

I am trying to interface Atlmel EEPROM 24C08A to a PIC16F877 using the example code in mikro-pascal complier but could not get it working.

The code is exactly same as that in the sample code in the I2C library of uPascal complier v6.0.0.2

Is the problem related to oscillator&device configuration of the PIC?

Please, can you suggest possible solution(s) to my problem.

Cheers

Hi!

We strongly encourage users to switch to PRO version because non-PRO version is an ancestor of PRO compiler
and is no longer being developed.
Every new feature, improvement and bug fix will only affect new versions of PRO compilers.
If you're a registered user you'll receive PRO license key free of charge.

Please, see the EEPROM examples distributed with our mikroC PRO for PIC compiler:
...\Mikroelektronika\mikroC PRO for PIC\Examples\Extra Boards\EEPROM (I2C)\
With minor adjustments you'll be able to compile them for PIC16F877 MCU.
Best regards
Slavisa
