pic 18f8520 configuration bits

hi friends,
i am using Mikro C, and big pic 5 development board, i am developing master/slave communication with RS 485 examples given by ME, i am using the PIC 18f8520, since the library function of micro c is in PORT C i use the RC6, RC7 as tx and RX and RC2 as ccp1.
i use the port H as the I/O. when i connect both chip RX > TX, TX>RX, then working fine when i connect them through the tranciever then there is no communication between the master and slave and data cannot be sent over other side, i am using two way communication. send some data from master and get back some data from the Slave.
for this issue am i need to set any configuration bit to get communication through Tranciever
i am using ADM 485 tranciever.
please share your experience with me.
