about bootloader.hex

hello everybody

i just installed the new version of mikroC (2.1) and i found, in the examples folder, source code for the bootloader. I tried to compile it for my pic controller (16F873) and I got this message: Routine address cannot fit 7742; bootforall16.c.


Can somebody help me, please?

The current bootloader library for PIC16's works only for 8K ROM machines (such as 877A). We will build the bootloader library for the 4K MCUs (such as 873 and 874) and put it in the next release. Sorry for this :?.
