I have also tried using a 4680 several times and I could not get it working properly. When I used the same code with a 4510 it worked as intended.

*edit*

I was not using CAN... it was just basic port manipulation ie: software PWM, LCD, and keypads.

Hello,

you can look for our examples on following link:
http://www.mikroe.com/eng/products/view ... spi-board/
Examples provided with this board will show you how to connect the MCP2551 CAN transceiver to an MCU easily.
