Hi,

The standalone CODEGRIP does have internal level shifters but in the CODEGRIP Suite application you cannot set the voltage to 5V in the Power Options menu, only 3V3, hence you can only power & program/debug the 3V3 MCUs.
On the contrary, in the case CODEGRIP on development boards (like EasyPIC v8), CODEGRIP Suite has the option to set 5V.

So this is only the matter of CODEGRIP Suite application which detects CODEGRIP, please see the attached screenshot that shows the voltage options differences between EasyPIC v8 and CODEGRIP.

This option should be corrected in one of the next releases of CODEGRIP Suite application

As for the other programmers, you can use ICD3/PICKIT 3 if you set as Tool in mikroC PRO for PIC, but only for programming purposes, please see the following topic :

Hi Filip,

Can you give a time frame of when the release of CODEGRIP suite that fix this issue will be available?

The latest release is not compatible with PRO compilers and we have to downgrade the firmware version to 1.3.0
( see <viewtopic.php?f=233&t=79619&p=315764&hi ... ug#p315764> )
will this be also fixed in this new release?

Regards

Gronque

Hi,

Unfortunately, I do not have information on when this issue will be fixed, the developers are aware of it and are working on it.

Regards,

Ivan.
