troubleshooting with USB18PRJ.sys file

#1 Post by domi1804 » 20 Jul 2023 11:48

Good morning,

I need help from any members.

I just have bought the Easypic v7 Fusion for DSPic.

In this case, I have installed drivers for the development board. Thus, I have installed
USB18PRJ.sys driver and USB18PRJ.inf for windows 64 bits OS because I work with windows 10 OS.

I have restarted my computer...

But, when I go to the device manager, the driver doesn't appear.

So, I have added the driver manually within the device manager. And I obtain the error code 10: device can not start.

I tried to disable software signature but I am experiencing the same problem.

Thank you very much for your help. Sorry my english isn't perfect.

Hi,

Have you tried installing the drivers from the following link as Admin (right-click and choose Run As Admin) :
https://download.mikroe.com/setups/driv ... rivers.zip

Once you connect the development board, does the Windows detects it ?
Try also disabling the User Account Control from the Device Manager.

Regards,
Filip.

Hi Filip,

I have disabled the user account control and installed the drivers as administrator user but the problem does always exist. Thanks for your help. Best regards, Domi1804

Hi,

Can you please attach relevant screenshots from the Device Manager and mikroProgSuite for PIC once the board is connected to PC ?

Hi Filip,

I have found the cause of the problem.

A piece of hex code inherit to TFT was the cause of the troubleshooting.

Best regards,
