We got a couple of reports that Vista shows the following message:
Can not communicate with hardware!
Please ensure that device is attached to USB bus and that drivers are correctly installed.
This happens when you have User Account control set to ON in your Vista OS.
For the solution, do the following:
Follow the path in your Windows Vista (logged in as administrator)
Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Turn User Account Control on or off ->
uncheck Use User Account Control (UAC) and click OK
This should make your software fully functional.

This works but.....
Turning off UAC works BUT turning off UAC is a significant security violation for Vista. While it is turned off, I'm constantly reminded by Vista security that it is off and that I should turn it on.
Seems to me the software should be fixed to run under Vista without having to turn UAC off. Other providers I have used had the same problem but they shortly supplied Vista compatible software which fixed it.
Any plans to do so?
Thanks
