EasyPIC V7 and PIC18F26K42

#1 Post by abhijitrashinkar » 15 Jan 2021 15:25

Hello!

Kindly excuse if i have made a mistake to post in wrong section.

I am using EasyPIC V7 development board and trying to program a PIC18F26K42 chip but unfortunately without success, i receive a warning "Device detected: Unknown ! MCU selected PIC18F26K42, Continue anyway?", i double checked all the connections all well, i tried to read/write 18F26K22 (to validate), it works perfect, the version for MikroProg Suit for PIC is V2.80

Can someone shed some light where am i going wrong.

Thank you.

Abhi

Hi,

Please update download the latest mikroProg Suite for PIC and update the EasyPIC7 firmware, then you will be able to program K42 family of MCUs.

Regards,
Filip.
