Hi,

1) SW1 - If you trace it through the schematics - you'll see that it goes into the P2_0
And in the RN4870 datasheet you'll find :

Code: Select all

System configuration input; 
1: Application mode
0: Test mode, for Flash update and EEPROM
settings
Default: Input; pulled-high

2) Correct.
3) I don't have any information on how this device behaves on the Explorer board.
If I manage to get my hands on that development board, I'll gladly test the RN4870 with it.
