READY FOR PIC (PIC18) bluetooth connaction to ps3 controller

#1 Post by matanb » 02 Feb 2017 09:32

hello
i hope somebody here could help me, I'm doing a project were i try to connect a PS3 controller to my READY FOR PIC (PIC18f45K22) so in the end i could controll a RC car.
I have a bluetooth dongale that could make the connaction but as i understend I need a usb host so the BT address could be saved.
at first i thought that the READY FOR PIC has a build in usb host but i know been told that its not the case.
is there any way i could do it without a usb host? (i'm using a usb adapter from usb type 1 to 2 and a 9v external battry).
did any one here try the same thing and succed?
i looked online and i saw many people did in with arduino but no one with pic.
hope you could help me.
thank you
matan

Hi,

Yes, you need USB Host Library for PS3 controller, please follow this link:

Also, maybe these links will help to make your own RC Car:
