Libstock adding file to blog does not accept .pdf files any more.

Hello Danny,

I'm sorry you had problems with Libstock. We jumped right on to it, to fix the problem.

However, after trying to add .PDF file to one of our blogs, it worked every time. We tested it on every popular browser, including Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE11.
We need your help in order to reproduce the error and fix the issue. Can you please provide following information:
1. Which OS are you using?
2. Which browser are you using and which version?
3. What error message are you getting (if any)?
4. Finally, can you please describe each step in the process, so we can try replicating the issue.

Hi Vojislav, thanks for your reply.

1. Which OS are you using?

I do use Windows 7.

2. Which browser are you using and which version?

Firefox version 45.0.1.

3. What error message are you getting (if any)?

The message I get is "application/binary" is not an allowed type".

4. Finally, can you please describe each step in the process, so we can try replicating the issue.

The blog I try to add a document to is the one of "http://libstock.mikroe.com/projects/vie ... programmer". I do/select (after login of course)
- Edit
- Code blog
- Insert document
- fill in a title
- select the .pdf document on my hard disk with "browse"
- and finally "add".
- after a while I get the error message.

Uploading e.g. a "docx" document (word) is no problem at all.

p.s. another issue: if I do 'View" after receiving the error message the "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" message screen is shown. I can not leave it by hitting one of the buttons of it. I can only make it go away by "back" on my browser line.

Additionally:

A .pdf document can be added with Internet Explorer, but
I can not delete documents from the blog any more (same phenomenon as with the "are you sure..." screen).

Hi Dany,

Thank you for the provided information that we asked for and for extra info about the "are you sure..." screen, very helpfull.

Concerning the problem with "are you sure.." message is fixed and now works in all browsers.

Regarding the problem with .PDF file we need little more time, will try to fix it by later today, because error is not consistent on all browsers.

Hi vojislav, new status 2016-04-07 confirmed: the "are you sure" (leave page) and delete document problems have been solved in FireFox.
The .pdf problem stays.
